Library

Well-stacked library containing books, magazines and journals on information technology and management and a well maintained and update to research center are essential part of academy. Stocking a rich collection of over 15,000 selected learning resources in the discipline of management and related areas in variety of formats and operating from a 5,000 sq. ft. Spacious, centrally located, air-conditioned building, built on most started preparing the course material on CD’s and these are given to the participants along with course material.

It has a comprehensive Collection of Literature predominantly related to management, law, economics, psychology, education, agriculture, history, self help book, fiction, sports, child section and its allied subjects to meet the present and future information needs of its users. Most of the library activities are computerized.

The Timings of the library are:
Working Days (Monday to Friday) - 09:30 to 18:00
Saturdays, Sundays - 10:00 to 14:00 (as per training)

The air-conditioned library has 15,000 titles. The Library has the following features:

  • Occasional organization of Book Exhibitions.
Mission

In keeping with the vision of the Academy, the library has been established “to promote knowledge generation and application through its effective dissemination”. The library, therefore, acts as the main learning resource centre of the Academy and provides services and facilities to meet the requirements of the Academies training, research, and consultancy programmes.

Library Collection

The Library has a collection of around 15,000 books and bound volumes of Journals, A.V. materials, Micro form collection Films/Tapes, CD-ROM Data Bases etc., Magazines etc. The Library receives some Periodicals, Journals & Newspapers, way of subscription, exchange and complimentary basis. Almost all housekeeping jobs are computerized.
